Modern Immaturity:
To Grow Up or Not to Grow Up;
That is the Question

Modern immaturity, or you refuse to grow up. Or maybe you never thought about it. You're just like all of your friends. If they never grew up and became responsible, mature men, why should you?

The modern culture idolizes youth. Women take it that they continue to look young as they mature. Men take it that they never mature. They never want to grow up.

Many men today love their toys. Their toys and their fun come ahead of their responsibility to their families and sometimes even to their jobs.

Does this describe you? Do you like being this way? Or would you rather be a mature man who welcomes, accepts, and thrives on your responsibilities?

First of all, it might not be your fault that you are this way. This is pretty much a cultural thing any more.

Secondly, you can change if you want to. You don't have many role models (certainly not many public personalities) but you can find a few even if you have to look back a few generations.

Look at your life and your priorities. Think about what's important to you. Then look at how you spend your time. Do your so called priorities and how you spend your time match? If not, think long and hard about what's important to you.
